Nicole Persson

The successful show jumper Nicole Persson started out early, because her parents ran a riding school in Sweden. At the young age of nine she took part in tournaments with her pony, at the age of eleven she received her first adult horse. After completing her schooling she moved to Germany to further her equestrian career.

She first joined the stables of Passier partner Marcus Ehning in 2007 and after three years she joined the team of Marcus’ brother Johannes Ehning, himself a Passier partner. After a short while she won her first S show jumping competition and received the Golden Riding Badge. Since 2014 she has been active in raising and training competition horses with her own independent company Persson Showjumping. With her top horses she regularly takes part in national and international tournaments in Germany and abroad, starting for Sweden. A highlight occurred in 2017 when she was able to reach a placement with her horse Balounito and the Swedish team at the Nation’s Cup in Poland.

During her time with Marcus and Johannes Ehning she got to know and love Passier and since 2014 she has been a Passier partner herself.
